This is the Hunter Ed Course required to obtain a Outdoors card.
Course is two days, starting at 8 am daily. Ends at 5 PM on Saturday. Sunday end time is when testing has been completed.

You are signing up for the Hunter Education Safety Course.

Passing this course will allow you to get an Ontario (Hunting) Outdoors Card, which can be used to hunt in Ontario. Without a valid PAL a student passing the Hunter Ed Course will be limited to hunting solely with a bow or corssbow (to obtain a PAL you must also complete the CFSC course).

Students must be at least 12 years old and a resident of Ontario for at least 6 months to take this course

You must bring government-issued ID with you on the first day of class. Permitted IDs include:

• Driver's license
• Canadian Citizenship Card with photo
• Ontario Photo Card
• Canadian Permanent Resident Card
• Passport (Canadian or foreign)
• Secure Certificate of Indian Status (Status Card)
• Canadian Possession and Acquisition License (PAL or POL)
• Any photo card issued under the Ontario Photo Card Act 20084)

For students under 16 years of age who cannot provide any of the photo identification listed above, the birth certificate of the student and photo ID of the parent or guardian as identified above.

Course cost includes the Course, Manual, and Test.

COVID and Health Restrictions

Courses will run in accordance with the seating and restrictions allowed by the EOHU at the time the course is held.

There may be unique social distancing, mask requirements, paperwork, and cleaning requirements as set forth by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU).
